High Dental is equipped with the latest scanning and milling technology, allowing unprecedented turnaround time. Typically, crowns are made by third party labs and take 2-3 weeks. This means that patients need to attend 2 appointments that are spaced 2-3 weeks apart. At High Dental, we respect your time and such a requirement can be a major inconvenience to you. With our CEREC milling machine, crowns can be made on the same day and require 1 appointment only.

What are porcelain veneers?

Porcelain veneers are thin layers of tooth- coloured ceramic that fit directly onto the front surfaces of your natural teeth.

Porcelain veneers are typical used to correct:

Discoloured or stained teeth
Chipped pr worn teeth
Gaps between teeth
Slightly crooked or uneven teeth
Teeth that are too small or irregularly shaped

They focus on aesthetic, not structural repair

What are artificial crowns?

Artificial crowns are similar to veneers, except that they cover the entire surface of the tooth, not just the front surface. This has additional benefits – it protects the tooth by acting like a helmet. Artificial crowns are ideal for teeth that have undergone root canal treatment, are cracked or broken down. However, not every tooth is suitable for crowning.
