Feeling Nervous?

We understand that visiting the dentist can be quite daunting. At High Dental, our dedicated staff will accompany you throughout every stage of your experience and ensure that you feel comfortable and pain-free in a relaxing environment. All our rooms are equipped with sound speakers and televisions on the ceiling so you can request for your favourite songs or movie to be played. In addition to local anaesthesia as a means of eliminating pain, we also offer oral sedation and general anaesthesia (i.e. treatment during sleep) if you are a suitable candidate. Please let one of our friendly receptionists know if you are feeling anxious and our team will do our utmost best to help you.

Your First Visit

Please arrive 10 minutes before your first appointment to allow yourself some time to fill out the new patient form. If you have private health insurance, please also remember to bring your health insurance card.

In the room, your dentist will take a full history and identify any problems regarding your dental and oral health. The first appointment usually involves a full dental check-up, photos, x-rays, a clean, and fluoride treatment. Following this, there will be an in-depth discussion about your treatment options and the costs involved. We also offer payment plans for larger treatments (please see finance options).

Alternatively, if you are here for an emergency, treatment will be performed with the objective of eliminating pain and any infection that may be present.

Your Child’s First Visit

We love treating children at High Dental. Your child’s first visit is all about making them feel comfortable with the dental environment. It’ll be a fun experience for all, especially when they get to sit on the dental chair (aka the “space rocket”).

Your child’s first visit is extremely important in early detection of any oral or dental diseases. We recommend children to visit the dentist from the age of 12 to 18 months. Your child may also be covered for general dental services under the Child Dental Benefit Schedule. Please see finance options for more information.
